The Nelson Dentistry Team

As our Office Manager, Lynnea strives to make sure all of our patients are well taken care of and can help you with any specific questions or concerns you may have. Lynnea grew up in Helena, MT and graduated from Montana State University in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in Business (with Management and Marketing options). She really enjoys working in a small business environment, being able to support her older brother (Dr. Nelson), continuously seeking out ways to challenge the whole team, and hearing about all the dynamic and amusing adventures patients have been up to.

Lynnea’s world largely revolves around her Newfoundland, Iggie. She enjoys reading, baking, hanging out with Iggie, and spending time with her family. While she is a firm believer cookies suffice as a meal, she is also working on honing her culinary skills for healthy food. Dr. Nelson swears that she makes THE best cookies!

Cara started in the dental field in 1999 and went on to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2009, graduating from Colorado Northwestern Community College. She raised her two kids in Gunnison, Colorado, and moved to Missoula to be near family in February 2020. Cara enjoys baking and her two huskies.

Anna attended Carrington College in Boise, Idaho for her dental hygiene degree and moved back to her home town of Missoula to practice. Prior to dental hygiene, Anna has been a dental assistant since 2015 working in general dentistry and pediatrics. Her passion for dentistry shines through her patient care and dental education. Striving to give every patient the best care and treating them as family!

On her days off, Anna enjoys hiking, camping, gardening, and Saturday famer’s markets. On her hikes she loves to bring her camera and capture the beautiful nature surrounding us!

Mia grew up in Missoula and lives with her boyfriend and 3 cats. After many years in retail, she decided it was time for a change of pace and moved into the exciting world of dental assisting. She loves to work with people on a 1-on-1 basis and feels fulfilled when people leave smiling. She enjoys video games, anime, and sci-fi series such as Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Shannon grew up in Missoula but has moved away a few times to explore "Big City" life. She quickly realized there is truly no place like home, especially Missoula. Shannon loves working with people and strives to make every visit pleasant and help patients leave with a smile. In her free time, she loves going to football games, Saturday morning farmers markets, and exploring our beautiful surroundings with her fur baby, Bogart. 

Missy met her Montana native husband while managing a Fitness Center/Gym for the Marine Corps. When his time was up in the Corps, they moved back to Montana and can't imagine living anywhere else. Their family of 6, along with two dogs, enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, off-roading, and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors.

Missy was a Personal Trainer for 13 yrs and worked at a Pacemaker Clinic for 7yrs.  Since she loves working with people and Human Biology, the dental field seemed like an exciting next step.

Breezi grew up in Missoula and now lives with her husband, son, and dog. After teaching for several years, she decided to change career paths. On her days off she enjoys playing video games, watching movies, especially Disney and Marvel, and playing with her son and dog.
