Nelson Dentistry wants you to get the care you need, here are some ways we help make it affordable.
Payment in full is required at the time of your dental appointment. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards. If you are unable to pay in full at the time of your appointment, alternative financial arrangements must be discussed and approved by our Care Coordinator prior to your appointment. The alternative financial arrangements we are able to extend are described below, as well as details on utilizing your dental insurance.
If you have dental insurance, or if your dental insurance changes at any time, please notify us when checking in for your appointment. We can then verify your dental coverage information for you and submit claims on your behalf. If we are provided accurate information and able to verify your coverage, we can bill your insurance for their estimated portion, and you would then only be responsible for your estimated co-pay at each appointment. If it is your preference to pay off your balance at the time of your appointment and have your insurance reimburse you directly, we can do that as well.
We will always do our best to keep up-to-date information and help you maximize your dental insurance benefits, but please do not hesitate to ask questions at any time and help remind us if you’ve recently received treatment at a specialist’s office in town.
Our office has elected to utilize an in-house financing option, enabling patients to set up an automated payment plan directly with us when pursuing treatment that is $300 or more. This payment option will be extended towards all patients who have established good credit.
How it Works: Together, we will decide upon the length of your payment plan (2, 3, or 4 month options), as well as the amount to be charged for each payment. Your first payment will be due at the time of your service. We will then set up your plan using one of your credit or debit cards that will be automatically charged on either the 1st or 15th day of each month for the duration of our agreement. You will be emailed a receipt after each payment is made.
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that individuals have the option to apply for and, if accepted, can use towards any of their healthcare needs. Through the application process, CareCredit will determine your credit limit. When using CareCredit, you will be able to select the amount of time you’d like to pay your balance off within (6 or 12 months). As long as you make your payments and pay off your balance within the specified timeframe, you will not be charged interest.
